We seek strong candidates in Front-end Software Development for robotic system to join our talented team.

Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities:
    Design and build dynamic end-user interfaces;
    Design and develop an easy-to-use, intuitive mobile app for robot control;
    Be a key part of the software development process, designing scalable front end systems, and working together with an existing development team;
    Provide input on emerging software technologies that the company could incorporate into the overall plan;


Qualifications

Skills & Requirements:
    2-3 years experience developing commercial mobile software;
    Strong experience / knowledge of iOS, Android or mobile web applications;
    Strong UI/UX design skills;
    Experience developing websocket-based comm. layer to exchange data with server;
    WebRTC experience a plus;
    Experience in the design, development and troubleshooting of complex applications, systems and networking issues;
    Self-motivated, able to prototype quickly and work independently;
    Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and deliver solutions satisfying business needs;

Desired Qualifications:
    MS in Computer Science.
    Experience building mobile applications that control real time systems.
    Familiar with Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and other short distance wireless communication technology communications protocols, particularly UDP/TCP, and socket programming.
    Familiarity with various security protocols, certificate authentication etc.

Additional Information

The candidates for this position should be able to work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced start up environment.  The job requires clear communication with a small, passionate, multidisciplinary team and extremely well structured, well documented code.  Proven experience developing sophisticated robotic systems is required.  Code samples and references will be requested. The candidates should have a very positive work attitude.
