Job description

Function: WCS Healthcare is currently seeking an experienced Critical Care Nurse for a contract assignment at a highly respected hospital in Poughkeepsie, NY. This role is ideal for an ICU trained RN with strong clinical judgment, rapid assessment skills, and the ability to manage complex, high acuity patients. Job Responsibilities Evaluate and continuously monitor patient progress in the ICU. Identify sudden or subtle changes in patient condition and intervene appropriately. Provide timely updates to physicians, patients, and family members. Initiate treatments, administer medications, and monitor dosing. Respond to medical emergencies and activate appropriate clinical teams. Deliver comprehensive care throughout the patient s ICU stay.
