Job description

Connect Staffing is hiring an RMA Specialist for a solar inverter and energy storage systems manufacturer in Houston, TX. In this role, you will receive and process returned PV inverter and ESS units, unpacking, inspecting, scanning serial numbers, labeling, and staging equipment to keep the repair workflow moving. This is a hands-on warehouse role with long-term potential at a globally recognized energy company.
Pay:$20-$25/hr
Schedule: Monday to Friday 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Location: Houston, TX
Job Type: Temp-to-Hire
Work Environment: Warehouse
Responsibilities
  • Unpack, inspect, label, and document inbound returned units at the RMA receiving station for PV inverters and ESS equipment.
  • Scan serial numbers using a barcode scanner and enter product details accurately into an ERP or service management system.
  • Use a pallet jack to move and stage equipment and components for repair workflows or storage.
  • Open crates, palletize items, and organize parts and assemblies based on condition, part type, or repair priority.
  • Sort, tag, and record components - including capacitors, resistors, connectors, fuses, and PCBA modules - or learn to identify them through on-the-job training.
  • Support cycle counts, stock checks, and shipment preparation as part of warehouse operations.

Minimum Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience in warehouse operations, inventory handling, RMA processing, or logistics.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience processing returns, exchanges, or warranty claims in a warehouse or repair center environment.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP, NetSuite, Oracle, or similar) for data entry and inventory tracking.
  • Basic ability to identify common electronic components such as capacitors, resistors, connectors, fuses, or PCBA modules.
  • Experience operating a pallet jack or other material handling equipment.
  • Background in electronics manufacturing, solar energy, or technical repair center environments.
  • Bilingual in English and Mandarin - a strong plus for coordinating with technical teams.

Pre-Employment Requirements
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. occasionally and up to 25 lbs. frequently.
  • Drug screen required.
  • Background check required.
