We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Counselor to join our team at Phoenix Rising Counseling Center. This full-time remote position allows you to engage in transformative mental health care practices while supporting a diverse patient population from the comfort of your own home. • Conduct culturally sensitive and strengths-based assessments of new patients and their families to identify mental health needs.
• Provide tailored individual and family therapy based on comprehensive evaluations to facilitate personal and relational growth.
• Maintain accurate and timely billing, documentation, and treatment planning, including submission of insurance authorization forms, to ensure seamless patient care.
• Develop personalized crisis management plans, safety protocols, relapse prevention strategies, and overall wellness plans to aid clients in maintaining stability.
• Create thorough discharge plans in collaboration with patients and their families to support ongoing mental health after therapy.
• Adhere strictly to federal and state mental health laws, as well as agency policies and procedures to maintain compliance in therapeutic practices.
• Engage in ongoing professional development through training, workshops, and continuing education to enhance therapeutic competencies.
• Participate actively in case consultations and agency meetings, contributing to a culture of shared insights and collaborative solution-finding.
• Complete all mandated training and ensure active licensure within the State of New York.

Our client population encompasses a diverse range of individuals and families seeking support in managing mental health challenges. Our therapists work with clients experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues, among other concerns. This role is especially suited for those passionate about serving a community eager for compassionate care and understanding.

• A Master’s degree in social work, counseling, marriage and family therapy, or a related field that results in licensure.
• Active licensure as a Mental Health Therapist (LMHC, LMFT, LCSW) in New York State is required.

• A minimum of two years of professional experience in a mental health counseling setting.
• Experience using electronic health record (EHR) systems for documentation and billing processes is highly desirable.

We offer a competitive salary range of $70,000 to $100,000 per year, commensurate with experience and licensure. In addition to a comprehensive pay structure, you will also benefit from:
