At Riderwood Village, our Line Cooks do more than execute recipes! They help create an experience our residents look forward to every day. If you love cooking, teamwork, and want a schedule that does not burn you out, this is a kitchen where your skills and your time are respected.

What we offer:

  • Compensation: $20.70 - $23.00 hourly, commensurate with experience

How you will make an impact:

  • Prepare and cook menu items using proper techniques, recipes, and food safety standards

  • Execute cook-to-order meals with consistent quality, portioning, and presentation

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workstation

  • Work side-by-side with fellow cooks, sous chefs, and culinary leadership during service

  • Contribute to a dining experience that keeps residents coming back

What you will need

  • Minimum of 1-2 years of cook-to-order experience

  • Must be able to work some weekends and holidays

  • Be able to lift and/or move objects weighing up to 50 pounds

  • Ability to work in varying temperatures, from hot kitchens to cold refrigerators and freezers
