As Investment Watches continues to scale, we are looking for a highly specialized Master Watchmaker to join our Austin team. This role is focused purely on technical excellence — servicing, repairing, diagnosing, and restoring high-value luxury timepieces to the highest possible standards.

What You’ll Do

Service, diagnose, and repair high-end luxury timepieces to brand-level standards

Perform complete movement overhauls, adjustments, regulation, and testing

Handle complex repairs and troubleshooting across a wide range of calibers

Work on high-value and highly collectible watches with extreme attention to detail

Perform refinishing and restoration of cases and bracelets to a high standard

Ensure all watches meet strict quality control and performance benchmarks

Collaborate closely with our authentication and operations teams

Maintain an organized, professional, and high-level workshop environment

Contribute to elevating one of the premier independent watch service operations in the United States

What We’re Looking For

Exceptional technical watchmaking skills with strong diagnostic ability

Deep understanding of luxury Swiss movements and finishing standards

Highly detail-oriented with uncompromising quality expectations

Able to work independently and efficiently on complex projects

Structured, calm, and methodical approach to problem-solving

Strong sense of professionalism, accountability, and pride in craftsmanship

Passion for horology and appreciation for rare and collectible timepieces

Clear communicator with strong English skills

Qualifications

Formal watchmaker education or certified apprenticeship required

Minimum 5 years of experience servicing high-end luxury watches

Experience working with brands such as Rolex, Patek Philippe, Audemars Piguet, Vacheron Constantin, Richard Mille, or similar

Experience with complicated movements is strongly preferred

High-level case and bracelet refinishing experience is a major advantage

WOSTEP, SAWTA, or equivalent certifications are considered a strong plus
