Job description

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Including the following, other duties may be assigned as needed:
  • Trade confirmation and correction
  • P&L production and reporting
  • Settling trades with brokers and custodians
  • Supporting transmitting trade details from internal OMS to other internal systems and external relationships
  • Position Reconciliation
  • Manual trade entry for third party FX, repos, swaps, forwards and other derivatives
  • Crypto processing: coin movements, staking, wire transfers, platform verifications, etc.
  • Properly utilizing the system infrastructure in the settlements process for accurate processing in the portfolio accounting and performance systems
  • Transferring monies to/from accounts
  • Posting account margin and collateral management
  • Broker and country registrations
  • New account set-up both internal and external with custodians / brokers
  • Liaise with portfolio management team, traders, compliance and reconciliation department
  • Position Reconciliation

Qualifications
  • Experience working at investment organization such as an asset manager or RIA performing trade operations
  • Strong understanding of financial markets and an interest in investing or trading
  • Knowledge about different asset classes (equity, fixed income, repos, spots, forwards, options, futures, swaps), Cryptocurrency / stablecoins, investment products (mutual funds, ETFs, hedge funds, separately managed accounts) and transaction types/sources (buys and sells, shorts and covers, expiration, maturity, corporate actions, etc.)
  • Global markets exposure a plus
  • Experience working with diverse range of financial professionals
  • Quantitative orientation
  • Ability to understand the business objectives and processes of the firm including how data flows throughout the different systems and organizations, at large
  • Bloomberg, Bloomberg AIM, DTCC (Alert & CTM), and Crypto Platforms knowledge preferred. Portia & BNY Eagle are not necessary but would be considered a plus.
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel; Claude AI a plus, broad experience using computer software

Education and/or Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, accounting, economics or a related field
  • 2 - 6 years of experience in trade operations at an asset manager, RIA or similar investment firm
