Job description

The RFP Responses & PowerPoint Specialist coordinates and writes comprehensive Request for Proposal (RFP) responses for institutional financial clients. Working within an established proposal team, this role focuses heavily on clear financial writing, questionnaire coordination, and formatting high-stakes client presentation decks. The ideal candidate translates complex investment strategies and market data into highly persuasive, brand-compliant narratives and scannable visual slides.
Key Responsibilities
RFP Coordination & Financial Writing
  • Own the process: Manage the end-to-end drafting cycle for RFPs, RFIs, and Due Diligence Questionnaires (DDQs).
  • Coordinate stakeholders: Manage proposal timelines by assigning tasks and extracting technical input from subject matter experts (SMEs).
  • Draft tailored content: Write clear narratives detailing investment philosophies, risk management, and regulatory compliance.
  • Maintain the database: Update and curate the centralized proposal content library (e.g., Loopio, Responsive, or Qvidian).
  • Ensure strict compliance: Review all answers against institutional brand standards and strict financial regulatory guidelines.

PowerPoint Design & Presentation Support
  • Standardize pitch decks: Format and refine final-round presentation decks using established financial service templates.
  • Visualize market data: Convert complex financial charts, performance tables, and portfolio metrics into clean, scannable slides.
  • Streamline visual layouts: Clean up layout spacing, typography, and alignment to ensure a sophisticated corporate aesthetic.
  • Support finals prep: Partner with the relationship management teams to structure the narrative flow of pitch meetings.

Required Skills & Qualifications
Technical Skills
  • Advanced MS Productivity Suite: Mastery of Microsoft Word (styles and formatting) and PowerPoint (master slides and charting).
  • RFP Software Experience: Direct hands-on experience using proposal database software such as Qvidian.
  • Data Comprehension: Ability to read and correctly position investment performance data, tables, and asset management concepts.

  • Team Collaboration: Ability to integrate seamlessly into an established team structure and take direction from senior team members.
  • Project Discipline: Exceptional organizational skills to manage concurrent deadlines across multiple proposals.

Education & Experience Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Communications, or Marketing.
  • Experience: 3+ years of experience in B2B proposal writing, specifically within banking, asset management, or financial services.
