Job description

About Iru

Iru is the AI-powered security & IT platform used by the world's fastest-growing companies to secure their users, apps, and devices. Built for the AI era, Iru unifies identity & access, endpoint security & management, and compliance automation-collapsing the stack and giving IT & security time and control back.

Iru is backed by some of the smartest investors in tech-General Catalyst, Tiger Global, Felicis, Greycroft, and First Round Capital. In July 2024, Iru raised $100 million from General Catalyst, valuing the company at $850 million. Customers include Cursor, Vercel, Lovable, Replit, and Mercor, and Iru partners with industry leaders such as ServiceNow and AWS. Iru was named to Forbes' America's Best Startup Employers 2025 list for employee engagement and satisfaction.
The Opportunity

As Iru's Head of Growth, you will own the full demand generation engine across paid media, integrated campaigns, lifecycle marketing, website conversion, email strategy, and events/field marketing. You will be accountable for building a durable, efficient growth engine that delivers against aggressive pipeline and revenue targets while connecting short-term performance with long-term customer growth.

This is a strategic, director-level role for someone who can see how all demand programs work together, set the growth strategy, lead and develop the team, manage a significant budget, and partner closely across Product Marketing, Brand/Creative, Content, Sales, RevOps, and Marketing Ops. You should be comfortable moving between executive-level strategy and hands-on execution, with strong analytical judgment, budget discipline, and the ability to pressure-test performance across the full funnel.

The ideal candidate has built and scaled growth programs in B2B SaaS or tech, understands paid media deeply, and has broader experience across campaigns, lifecycle, website conversion, and field/event marketing. Agency experience, especially with B2B SaaS clients and meaningful budget ownership, is a plus.

What you'll do:
  • Own Iru's end-to-end growth strategy across performance marketing, integrated campaigns, lifecycle marketing, website conversion, email strategy, and events/field marketing

  • Lead and develop the growth team, setting goals, coaching team members, establishing accountability, and ensuring the function delivers consistent pipeline and revenue outcomes

  • Oversee paid media strategy, budget allocation, and performance across digital channels, including LinkedIn, Meta, Reddit, Google Ads, Display, YouTube, CTV, and other priority channels

  • Build a cohesive demand generation engine that connects paid acquisition, website experience, lead nurture, campaigns, events, and sales follow-up into one integrated motion

  • Partner with Product Marketing, Brand/Creative, and Content to translate product positioning, audience insights, and campaign themes into high-performing go-to-market programs

  • Develop quarterly integrated campaign strategies and ensure they are executed consistently across channels, segments, and stages of the buyer journey

  • Guide lifecycle marketing strategy, including nurture programs that move prospects from first touch through customer conversion, expansion, and retention

  • Own growth forecasting, performance tracking, budget management, and reporting; provide clear insights and recommendations to marketing and executive leadership hip

  • Create repeatable campaign frameworks, optimization playbooks, and operating rhythms that improve efficiency and scale what works

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, RevOps, Marketing Ops, and other stakeholders on lead management, conversion, attribution, funnel performance, and campaign execution

  • Stay close enough to execution to understand what is working, troubleshoot issues, challenge assumptions, and raise the quality bar across programs

  • Hire, coach, or partner with highly analytical talent to ensure the team has strong channel-level rigor and performance insight

What you'll bring:
  • 8+ years of experience in B2B growth marketing, demand generation, performance marketing, or integrated marketing, ideally in SaaS or tech

  • 2+ years managing and developing high-performing marketing teams, ideally across multiple growth functions

  • Demonstrated ownership of pipeline and revenue outcomes across a broader demand generation motion, not just paid media

  • Strong understanding of paid media strategy and performance across channels such as LinkedIn, Google Ads, Meta, Reddit, programmatic display, YouTube, and CTV

  • Experience building integrated campaigns that connect messaging, creative, paid media, email, website experience, events, and sales follow-up

  • Lifecycle marketing experience, including nurture strategy, funnel progression, customer conversion, and expansion motions

  • Strong analytical judgment with the ability to interpret performance data, manage budget allocation, evaluate ROI, and ask the right questions of channel experts

  • Experience managing significant marketing budgets, ideally at similar B2B SaaS scale

  • Ability to move fluidly between strategy and execution: setting direction, building operating systems, coaching the team, and jumping into details when needed

  • Strong cross-functional partnership skills across Product Marketing, Brand/Creative, Content, Sales, RevOps, and Marketing Ops

  • Creative and commercial instincts, with the ability to connect positioning, audience insight, channel strategy, and pipeline impact

  • A full-funnel mindset: you understand how demand is created, captured, nurtured, converted, and expanded over time

Nice to have:
  • Agency background or experience working closely with growth/performance agencies, especially with B2B SaaS clients

  • Experience managing growth programs at similar budget levels and scale

  • Track record of building repeatable growth systems through high-volume execution, testing, learning, and optimization

  • Hands-on experience earlier in your career across paid media, lifecycle, campaigns, or other demand generation functions

  • Experience hiring or managing highly quantitative performance marketers, analysts, or channel specialists
