Job description

Position Summary: The Worship Director directs and facilitates artist development and worship gatherings at the local campus.

Essential Functions:


  • Lead efforts to recruit, develop, and support Team Members and Leaders.
  • Oversee the recruitment and development of Music Directors.
  • Manage the scheduling and facilitation of the GROW Band, including new Team Members and Coaches.
  • Supervise the onboarding process for new Team Members, including Welcome Track, assessments, and follow-up.
  • Coordinate the scheduling of bands for Adult and Student Gatherings, as well as special events.
  • Oversee the management and maintenance of worship equipment.
  • Lead the creation and management of music tracks for gatherings.
  • Ensure compliance with PCO standards for people and song databases, including people tags, lyrics, song sequences, files, rehearsal mixes, etc.
  • Serve as a musician and Music Director on the Worship Team as needed.
  • Direct and facilitate the involvement of artists for special events and gatherings.
  • Attends staff and departmental meetings, complies with company attendance policy, observes all safety procedures and policies, and participates in training as directed.
  • Other duties as assigned.

  • Must have a valid driver's license and pass a background check.
  • Must have attention to detail and pursuit of excellence in worship.

  • Demonstrated proficiency in various instruments.
  • Willingness to continually learn and adapt.
  • Ability to recruit, train, and lead team members.
  • Must possess sound beliefs and doctrine, moral character, and godliness in conduct.
  • Dependable church attendance.
  • Must have a dedication to fostering positive interpersonal connections, collaborating effectively within a team, and supporting church ministries.
  • Must be committed to confidentiality concerning all account records, including those of the church, staff, and stewards.
  • Must have a positive attitude and be a team player.
  • Ability to be discreet in dealing with confidential matters and materials.
  • Must be able to effectively read, write, and communicate in English.

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions - This position primarily involves working in indoor environmental conditions. It necessitates the capacity for prolonged sitting, standing, bending, reaching, and flexible movement. Occasionally, lifting objects weighing up to 25 pounds with assistance may be required. Proficiency in operating a computer, phone system, and other office equipment is necessary.


Office Hours: Monday - Thursday, 9 am to 5 pm, weekend gatherings, and special events.
