rEvolution is seeking a Senior Media Strategist to join our quickly growing sports marketing agency. Reporting to the VP, Media, you will be key to flawlessly executing digital media campaigns.

You Will:

  • Lead day-to-day media buying, campaign management, pacing, QA, and optimization across paid search, paid social, commerce media, and other biddable media platforms.
  • Manage and mentor junior team members, providing guidance on campaign setup, optimization, platform best practices, and overall account stewardship.
  • Bring forward innovative optimizations and test-and-learn ideas to help clients meet and exceed their business objectives.
  • Work with media vendors to facilitate media planning, proposals, platform education, and strategic recommendations.
  • Develop timelines for campaign activation and help ensure internal and external stakeholders are meeting deadlines.
  • Partner with analytics and the larger media team to share data, surface insights, inform future strategies, and speak to campaign performance as the subject matter expert on client calls.

You Have:

  • A Bachelors degree or higher in advertising, business, marketing, or a related field.
  • 35+ years of hands-on experience managing paid search, retail media, eCommerce, shopper marketing, and/or other biddable performance media campaigns.
  • Experience working in at least three of the following with a desire to learn more: Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, Amazon Ads, Walmart Connect, Target Roundel.
  • Strong understanding of keyword strategy, match types, negative keywords, product targeting, sponsored product listings, audience targeting, bid strategy, budget management and attribution.
  • Experience analyzing campaign performance and building actionable recommendations using buying platform reporting and internal dashboards.
  • Experience managing multiple workstreams, presenting to clients, collaborating cross-functionally, and guiding junior team members.

This hybrid role is based in our fabulous Chicago office, but has a global reach.


The anticipated annual salary range for this position is $65-75K, and is eligible for a discretionary, annual bonus.
