Job description

We're now seeking a highly skilled Technical Editor to join our dynamic team and help us refine our written products.
We're looking for a talented Mid-Level Technical Editor to play a key role in reviewing and refining our written products, including Open Source Intelligence Reports, IT technical artifacts, policy documents, and other media. As a Mid-Level Technical Editor you will be responsible for ensuring that our written products meet IC publication standards, are clear, logical, and consistent, and adhere to style guides and classification protocols.
Responsibilities:
  • Reviews written products, including Open Source Intelligence Reports drafts, IT technical artifacts, policy documents, strategic communications, training materials, tradecraft notes, slides, website content, and other media for proper grammar, punctuation, ensuring clarity, logic, and consistent language presentation
  • Collaborates with authors to revise and ensure adherence to style guides and classification protocols
  • Supports leading the editorial process, ensuring OSIC written products meet IC publication standards
  • Supports ensuring translation accuracy and collaborates with authors on narrative improvements and FDO compliance

Required Skills and Education
  • Mid-level: Bachelor's degree in a related business area with 8+ years of related experience with executive staff support experience within the last 2 years, or 10+ years of experience
  • Prior military or government analytical experience
  • Prior experience in Information Security
