Job description

One of our clients in the government domain is seeking a Technical Writer to support the development of IT governance policies, research public sector technology frameworks, collaborate with leadership and legal teams, and create documentation that drives organizational technology standards.


Technical Writer

On Site

Columbus, OH

Long Term


Responsibilities

  • Drafting of Administrative Technology Policies for the Department of Technology (60%).
  • Researching policies and procedures of like organizations (States, Counties, Locals, Universities) for framework of City of Columbus IT Policies (20%).
  • Working with DOT Leadership, Senior Staff and Legal to review and update drafted policies (10%).
  • Preparing PowerPoint presentations and assisting workgroup meetings (10%).


Required Skills

  • Experience writing administrative / technology IT governance policies and procedure – 4 Years
  • Experience with researching market trends for public sector IT organizations – 3 Years
