Job description

The Apparel / Fashion Designer develops clothing concepts that fit the identity and direction of Never Me Always We - Clothing Brand. This position takes ideas from early sketches through production-ready designs, with an emphasis on wearable pieces, graphics, fabrics, fit, and details that give each collection its own recognizable look.


Salary Range: $65,00– $98,000 annually


Key Responsibilities:


  • Create original apparel concepts, sketches, graphics, color combinations, and seasonal design ideas.
  • Develop designs for shirts, hats, and additional apparel products introduced by the brand.
  • Select appropriate fabrics, trims, prints, embroidery, and garment finishes.
  • Prepare technical specifications and design files for manufacturers or production partners.
  • Review samples for fit, construction, color accuracy, and overall appearance.
  • Work with marketing and content teams to keep product launches visually consistent with the brand.
  • Research apparel trends without simply copying what is already on the market.
  • Make design adjustments based on samples, production limitations, costs, and customer feedback.


Requirements:


  • Degree or professional experience in Fashion Design, Apparel Design, or a related creative field.
  • Strong portfolio showing original apparel or fashion work.
  • Experience with Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, or comparable design software.
  • Understanding of garment construction, fabrics, sizing, printing, and production.
  • Strong creative judgment with close attention to small design details.
