The Royal Caribbean Group's Revenue Management Team has an exciting career opportunity for a full time Revenue Strategy Analyst reporting to the Commercial Strategy Manager.

The position is onsite and based in Miami, Florida.  

The position is also not eligible for work authorization sponsorship.

Position Summary:

The Revenue Strategy Analyst is a member of the Celebrity Cruises Revenue Management department and plays a key role in supporting the company's commercial strategy through analytics and reporting. This role is responsible for developing and maintaining revenue management dashboards used daily by cross-functional stakeholders, including Revenue Management, Sales, Marketing, eCommerce, and International teams. The Analyst conducts ad hoc analyses using large, complex datasets and translates findings into actionable insights that inform leadership decision-making. The Revenue Strategy Analyst is an integral contributor to enabling the Revenue Management team to achieve the brand's commercial objectives. 

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain analytical tools and reporting that support revenue strategy decisions, including cruise ticket pricing and performance management. 
  • Extract and analyze data from large, complex datasets using SQL and other analytical programming languages and tools. 
  • Combine data from multiple sources using platforms such as Databricks, DBeaver, and similar technologies to produce reliable, insight-driven analyses. 
  • Analyze data using Microsoft Excel to identify trends, drivers, and opportunities that address key business questions. 
  • Design, build, and enhance Power BI reports and dashboards used by cross-functional stakeholders to monitor revenue performance. 
  • Maintain existing Power BI dashboards by resolving data issues, improving functionality, and ensuring ongoing accuracy and usability. 
  • Deliver regular and ad hoc reporting that provides clear insights to senior leadership in both formal and informal settings. 
  • Develop and maintain forecasting models for daily and weekly bookings, All-Included package sales, and other products to support revenue target-setting and performance management. 
  • Create clear, concise PowerPoint presentations that translate analytical findings into actionable insights for senior leaders. 
  • Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to answer analytical questions, troubleshoot reporting issues, and identify appropriate data sources. 
  • Identify opportunities to automate reporting and analytical workflows and implement process improvements to drive efficiency, leveraging generative AI tools where appropriate. 

 

Qualifications, Knowledge and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field of study. 
  • 1-3 years of professional experience in data analytics, business analysis, finance, or a related field. 
  • Strong proficiency in SQL and other analytical programming languages and tools. 
  • Experience using data query and analytics platforms such as Databricks, DBeaver, or similar technologies. 
  • Experience designing and maintaining dashboards in Power BI. 
  • Working knowledge of database structures, data models, and information systems, with hands-on experience using database tools. 
  • Strong understanding of core business concepts and revenue performance drivers. 
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including the use of Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP formulas, and similar functions. 
  • Experience using Microsoft PowerPoint to communicate analytical insights through clear and digestible presentations. 
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present findings clearly to diverse audiences. 
  • Demonstrated analytical curiosity and interest in commercial and revenue-focused insights. 
  • Ability to work independently on defined analytical tasks while managing priorities with limited day-to-day direction. 
  • Strong collaboration skills and ability to work effectively with cross-functional stakeholders. 
  • Ability to explain complex technical concepts and analytical results to non-technical audiences. 
  • Creative and structured problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach to decision support. 

Preferred Qualifications 

  • Master's degree in Data Analytics, Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field of study. 
  • Prior experience in the cruise, travel, or hospitality industry.
