Job description

About Us

Fortify Companies is changing the way property protection works. We believe that helping people rebuild after a loss is only half the job. Through our family of companies, including Insurcomm Restoration and Rytech Restoration, we deliver coordinated care from prevention to restoration across 100+ markets nationwide. Our teams, technology, and local expertise come together so property owners and insurers get fewer losses, faster recoveries, and someone they can trust.

The Role

Every sales team runs on trust in its numbers. As Revenue Operations Manager, you are the person who builds and protects that trust, keeping our CRM data clean, our reporting reliable, and our commission payouts accurate, so the people bringing in business can focus on the work instead of double checking the math.

This role owns Fortify's revenue operations function, including CRM strategy, revenue reporting, and inside sales, across Insurcomm, Rytech, and future acquisitions. As Fortify grows, you will build the unified reporting infrastructure that gives leadership one consistent picture of performance across the whole platform, and you will be a key point of operational support for the broader revenue team along the way.

What You'll Do Reporting and Forecasting

•     Produce recurring sales, pipeline, and bookings reports for leadership.

•     Support revenue forecasting by keeping the underlying data clean and pulling the cuts of pipeline and performance data people need.

•     Build and maintain dashboards that give sales leadership visibility into activity, pipeline, and results.

•     Measure and report on how well marketing campaigns and other cross functional initiatives are working, so leadership has what it needs to decide what to keep, adjust, or cut.

•     Partner with IT on the systems needed for reliable reporting, and with Finance to confirm reports are built on the right underlying data.

•     Use AI tools such as Claude to speed up report building, data analysis, and dashboard creation, applying good judgment to check outputs before they reach leadership.

•     Contribute reporting and analysis to executive and board level materials as requested.

Cross Platform Reporting and Systems Integration

•     Partner with IT and Finance to build unified reporting structures that give Fortify leadership consistent, comparable data across Insurcomm, Rytech, and future acquisitions.

•     Support the integration of newly acquired businesses into Fortify's CRM and reporting systems, working across teams to align data structures, definitions, and key metrics.

•     Spot inconsistencies in how each platform defines and tracks core revenue metrics, such as bookings, pipeline stages, and commission structures, and drive standardization where you can.

•     Maintain a single source of truth for cross platform performance reporting so leadership can see consolidated results without manual reconciliation across systems.

CRM Administration

•     Own day to day administration of Fortify's CRM (HubSpot), including user setup, data hygiene, and troubleshooting.

•     Coordinate with Customer Intake to keep referral source data clean and accurate, flagging referral trends and opportunities to sales leadership.

•     Monitor CRM adoption across the sales and intake teams and flag gaps in data entry or process adherence.

•     Support ongoing CRM configuration changes, including fields, workflows, and reporting dashboards.

Commissions

•     Own the sales team commissions process, calculating commissions accurately and on schedule each pay cycle, and researching and resolving discrepancies with sales leadership and Finance.

•     Maintain documentation of commission plans and calculation logic, and flag plan issues or edge cases to the Chief Commercial Officer.

Inside Sales

•     Oversee RocketLevel, a third party vendor currently covering inside sales for regional commercial accounts.

•     Monitor RocketLevel's performance against agreed service levels and escalate issues as needed.

•     Partner with the Chief Commercial Officer to build a supplemental internal inside sales function, and take direct ownership of managing inside sales as it grows.

Process and Cross Functional Support

•     Document Revenue Operations processes, including CRM workflows, commission calculation steps, and reporting procedures.

•     Support onboarding of new sales and intake team members on CRM and process expectations.

•     Provide ad hoc analysis and support to the sales teams on projects across sales, intake, and marketing.

•     Look for opportunities to use AI tools to streamline recurring Revenue Operations tasks such as report generation, data cleanup, and documentation.

•     Lead select process improvement projects from start to finish, from identifying the gap through implementation and adoption.

Perform other duties as assigned to support the needs of the team and business.

Requirements

What You Bring

•     4 to 7 years of experience in revenue operations, sales operations, business analysis, or a similar role.

•     Hands on CRM administration experience, with HubSpot experience strongly preferred.

•     Prior people management or vendor management experience with budget, contract, or hiring authority.

•     Experience building or scaling a function from scratch.

•     Strong Excel and data visualization skills.

•     High attention to detail, especially with data accuracy and commission calculations tied to pay.

•     Ability to manage recurring, deadline driven work, such as commission cycles and weekly or monthly reporting, reliably.

•     Clear written communication for documenting process and explaining data to non technical stakeholders.

•     Comfortable using AI tools such as Claude as part of daily analytical work, with the judgment to evaluate AI generated output rather than accept it at face value.

Benefits

What We Offer

•     A role with real impact, keeping the operational backbone of Fortify's revenue engine running cleanly.

•     The stability of a 30 year old company with the energy of a growing national brand.

•     Career growth across multiple companies and markets under the Fortify umbrella.

•     A team that values plain talk, hard work, and doing right by our customers.

•     Competitive compensation and benefits, including health, dental, and vision coverage, 401(k) with company match, and generous PTO and paid holidays.

•     The chance to be part of something new, building the reporting and systems infrastructure Fortify needs as it grows.

Ready to Join Us?

A successful Revenue Operations Manager keeps the operational backbone of Fortify's revenue engine running cleanly: accurate CRM data and reporting the sales team trusts without double checking it. You will catch data and process issues before they affect forecasts, commissions, or leadership visibility, and you will be building toward more, not just maintaining what exists today.

If you are ready to own the systems and reporting that help our revenue team trust its numbers, we want to hear from you.
