About the Jobย
We are looking for a Regional Sales Manager who can lead a team and still close business themselves. This is a player-coach role: you will manage a team ofย 2-3ย Business Development Mangers across the region while carrying your own book of business. You are the person who builds the culture, sets the standard, and holds the bar. You know how to develop people and how to win accounts.ย

Key Responsibilities:ย
Team Leadership andย Developmentย ย ย
- Recruit, onboard, and develop your team of Business Development Mangers across the regionย
- Run structured 1:1s, ride-alongs, and pipeline reviews to coach performance andย identifyย gapsย
- Set activity standards and hold the team accountable to CRM hygiene and pipeline disciplineย
- Identifyย skill gaps early and drive individual development plans for each repย
- Partner with operations and leadership on headcount, territory design, and market prioritizationย
Personal Quota and Territoryย
- Carry and manage your own assigned territory and revenue target alongside your team responsibilitiesย
- Source new opportunities through direct outreach, local networking, and industry eventsย
- Represent Fortify at trade shows and industry events; convert activity into booked revenueย ย
Sales Process and Operationsย
- Maintain personal and team CRM records; ensure data quality across the regionย
- Partner with operations to deliver a seamless client experience from first contact through project completionย
- Comply withย all safety, driving, and jobsite requirementsย
Requirements
Qualifications:ย
- 5+ years in field sales or account management with a demonstratedย track recordย of building pipeline from scratchย
- 2+ years managing or mentoring a sales team, formally or informallyย
- Experience in restoration, construction, facilities management, or the insurance ecosystem is a strong plusย
- Excellent coaching, communication, and negotiation skills; confident in front of both clients and your teamย
- Consistent record of meeting or exceeding quota in aย metrics-driven environmentย
- Valid driver's license and comfort with regular travel across the regionย
- Proficiencyย with HubSpot or a comparable CRM platformย

- Base salary $95,000 - $105,000 plus performance-based commission on personal productionย
- Team performance bonus tied to regional revenue attainmentย
- Draw against commissions during ramp periodย
- Total on-target compensation range after ramp period isย $157,000+ย based on performanceย ย
