What You'll Do:

You'll be a key member of CoreWeave's Revenue Accounting function, driving significant process improvements, ensuring our financial reporting is accurate and efficient, and developing future team members. You will present revenue results to leaders in Accounting and FP&A, as well as partner with other teams including Revenue Operations, Technical Revenue, Accounts Receivable, Product Management, Engineering, GL Accounting, and many other cross-functional business partners. In this role, you will ensure the accuracy of our revenue recognition and commissions accounting, in compliance with ASC 606, ASC 340, and our internal accounting policies. You will also contribute to the design and implementation of numerous SOX controls. This role reports to the Senior Manager of Commercial (Revenue) Accounting.

In this role, you will:

  • Be a leader in the month-end close process for Revenue and Commissions
  • Prepare and review financial close journal entries, reconciliations and analyses, as well as fluctuation explanations
  • Present revenue and commissions related information to executives
  • Partner extensively with the Technical Revenue and Accounts Receivable teams as well as other teams listed above
  • Proactively identify opportunities for both large and small process improvements and propose and implement solutions
  • Be the subject matter expert for Commercial Accounting on certain high-profile projects and system implementations
  • Improve the Company's Netsuite ARM implementation to increase automation and reporting capabilities and efficiency
  • Develop other members of the Revenue Accounting team
  • Assist in the revenue forecast process in partnership with FP&A
  • Design, implement and perform numerous SOX controls
  • Evaluate new product introductions or upstream process changes for impacts to the Revenue Accounting team's activities and processes
Who You Are:
  • 6+ years of progressive experience at either Big 4 public accounting firms or global high-tech organizations, with 4+ years in revenue roles
  • Strong knowledge of ASC 606
  • Experience with Netsuite ARM
  • Experience improving revenue accounting processes
  • Experience with system enhancement projects
  • Experience with >$1M negotiated B2B technology contracts
  • Strong analytical and problem resolution skills, including the ability to simplify complex situations
  • Excellent organizational abilities, attention to detail, and strong written and oral communication skills
  • Strong Excel skills

The base salary range for this role is $127,000 to $168,000. The starting salary will be determined based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location. We strive for both market alignment and internal equity when determining compensation. In addition to base salary, our total rewards package includes a discretionary bonus, equity awards, and a comprehensive benefits program (all based on eligibility).
