POSITION SUMMARY
The Revenue Cycle Manager owns end to end revenue performance for an assigned region, with full accountability from enrollment through payment. This role leads Claims Leaders and is responsible for improving reimbursement outcomes, reducing denial exposure, accelerating cash realization, and strengthening revenue governance across states. The position supports margin expansion, forecast reliability, and scalable growth.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
Revenue Ownership and Performance:
  • Own regional revenue results, including reimbursement optimization and cash acceleration
  • Drive improvement in first pass resolution, denial reduction, and authorization to payment cycle time
  • Lead AR strategy with emphasis on reducing aged receivables and preventing revenue leakage
  • Ensure compliance with state contract revenue requirements

Payer Strategy and Escalation:
  • Lead structured payer escalation processes and recurring performance reviews
  • Identify denial trends and systemic reimbursement risks
  • Coordinate cross functional resolution strategies to remove barriers to payment

Forecasting and Governance:
  • Develop and manage regional revenue forecasts aligned to operational drivers
  • Improve forecast accuracy through disciplined monitoring and variance analysis
  • Establish standardized revenue governance and reporting practices across regions
  • Partner with Finance to support margin expansion initiatives

Cross Functional Integration:
  • Integrate Enrollment, Authorizations, Billing, Claims, and AR into a cohesive revenue workflow
  • Eliminate process breakdowns that delay reimbursement
  • Lead recurring revenue performance reviews and drive corrective action planning
  • Develop and maintain a standardized revenue cycle playbook

Leadership and Team Development:
  • Lead and develop Claims Leaders with clear performance expectations and accountability
  • Oversee claims production through leadership of Claims Leaders while maintaining outcome ownership at the regional level
  • Promote operational discipline, continuous improvement, and standardized practices
  • Support structured training and capability development within the claims function

QUALIFICATIONS
Required
  • 7 or more years of progressive revenue cycle leadership experience
  • Demonstrated success improving AR performance and managing denial reduction strategies
  • Experience leading multi-level teams in a complex, multi state environment
  • Strong financial acumen and forecasting capability

Preferred
  • Experience in government funded or regulated reimbursement environments
  • Experience scaling revenue operations in high growth organizations
  • Proficiency with business intelligence and reporting tools such as Power BI
