What is a Rev Agency?

A Rev Agency, short for Revenue Agency, is a company or organization that specializes in helping other businesses increase their revenue through strategies such as sales optimization, marketing, lead generation, and customer retention. These agencies often analyze a company's sales funnel, marketing efforts, and customer journey to identify areas for improvement. By implementing targeted strategies, Rev Agencies aim to boost a client's profitability and long-term growth. They may offer services like consulting, digital marketing, sales training, and CRM implementation, depending on the client's needs.

How does a Rev Agency professional typically collaborate with sales, marketing, and customer success teams to drive revenue growth?

A Rev Agency professional plays a key role in aligning sales, marketing, and customer success teams to optimize the entire revenue generation process. They often facilitate cross-functional meetings, analyze data across departments, and develop strategies that ensure seamless lead handoff and consistent messaging throughout the customer journey. Head Of Sales

Location: San Francisco (in-person, in-office, full-time ONLY)

Compensation: $400K$600K OTE + meaningful equity

About Virio

Virio is building the next-generation B2B GTM stack.

Backed by investors and operators from LinkedIn, YouTube, HubSpot, Rippling, and Google, we turn executive-led content into revenue for the fastest-growing B2B companies. We added $1M in ARR in the last 30 days.

We are hiring a Head of Sales to own and scale Virio's outbound and top-of-funnel motion.

What You'll Do
  • Carry a quota and close enterprise deals yourself. This is not a manager seat.
  • Hire, ramp, and coach a team of high-output AEs.
  • Own rev ops: pipeline, forecasting, attribution, reporting.
  • Rebuild the sales process and ICP targeting around what actually closes.
  • Run weekly pipeline reviews, deal reviews, and live call coaching.
  • Align top-of-funnel with marketing and content.
  • Sell with content and AI. Set the standard your team copies.
What Makes You a Great Fit
  • You have closed enterprise B2B SaaS deals in the last 12 months.
  • You have built a sales team from the first AE.
  • You build rev ops systems, not just use them.
  • You have a LinkedIn presence, or you are ready to build one.
  • You use AI to move faster and expect the same from your team.
  • You coach on live calls, not in slides.
  • You have hit number as a rep and as a leader.
Traits That Thrive at Virio
  • High agency. You move without being told.
  • Pipeline obsession. You track quality and velocity daily.
  • Comfort with ambiguity. You build from scratch.
  • Direct communication. You say the hard thing early.
  • Low ego. You own the miss.
Benefits
  • Work directly with the founders
  • Meaningful equity as part of the founding team
  • 100 percent paid medical, dental, and vision
  • 401(k) plan
  • $1k monthly wellness and meals stipend
  • Relocation support for San Francisco
  • Company-wide annual off-sites
  • High ownership, high trust, fast progression
  • In-person culture with a deep commitment to excellence

Full-time, on-site in San Francisco. No hybrid or remote. Virio runs a 996-7 cadence and expects high ownership and high output.
