Come join the Basin Harbor team as we celebrate our 140th year - a milestone we’re honored to celebrate with our cherished community. We have plenty in store, from new experiences and enhancements to time-honored traditions that continue to make this lakeside retreat so special!


We are now accepting applications for Host/Hostess for our main dining room and outlets, here at Basin Harbor.


The Dining Room Host or Hostess greets guests shows them to their seats, and assists the serving staff and the Dining Room Captain or Manager to provide Basin Harbor guests with an enjoyable dining experience


We are currently seeking both full and part-time Host/Hostess positions, to join our team for our upcoming summer season from mid-May though October, 2026.

Requirements:

Some essential competencies are: Understanding the need for proper etiquette and service standards, prior experience preferred, able to take direction and work in a team environment, attention to detail, efficient, and able to perform multiple tasks systematically in a fast paced environment, ability to remember and follow dining room procedures, a clean, well kept, professional appearance. As well, shift work may require, long evening and weekend shifts - walking and standing. Must be able to lift 20 lbs repeatedly.
