Benefits Analyst
Location: Alpharetta, GA
Contract: 6+ Month
Job Description:
The Benefits Analyst supports the administration and ongoing management of health, welfare, and retirement benefit programs. This role coordinates daily vendor activities, resolves vendor and employee issues, performs data validation, maintains documentation, and supports process improvements and program-readiness efforts.
The Benefits Analyst provides operational and program support, contributes to vendor-management activities, works independently within established processes, and escalates strategy, contractual, and plan-design matters to the Manager as appropriate.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Execute benefits operational activities, including Open Enrollment (OE) testing, eligibility audits, data validation, invoice processing and billing reconciliation, enrollment corrections, and content quality reviews.
  • Perform file reviews, eligibility corrections, and contribution or record adjustments.
  • Serve as a primary operational point of contact for vendor and employee issues. Analyze root causes, ensure timely resolution, identify trends, and escalate issues requiring process or program adjustments.
  • Coordinate daily vendor operations by tracking SLAs, maintaining dashboards, completing follow-ups, and escalating issues as needed.
  • Lead program-management activities such as small-scale enhancements, process improvements, readiness initiatives, and implementation tasks across benefit programs.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable federal and state regulations. Escalate plan-rule exceptions, compliance matters, strategy questions, and contractual concerns in accordance with established guidelines.
  • Produce standard and custom reports across benefit programs, validate data accuracy, and summarize initial findings.
  • Maintain DLPs, process maps, program documentation, and audit evidence.
  • Support internal and external audits by gathering data, validating documentation, and tracking issues through resolution.
  • Support enterprise initiatives through testing, data preparation, and readiness activities without owning overall program strategy.
  • Communicate benefit processes, plan questions, and case updates clearly and professionally to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Create reports and analyze data to identify solutions that support business objectives.
  • Analyze current processes and identify existing or potential issues to uncover process-improvement opportunities.
  • Perform other duties as requested or assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Minimum Education and Experience
  • Bachelors degree with 2+ years of relevant experience.
  • Additional relevant experience may be accepted in lieu of a degree.

Pay Transparency: "The expected pay range for this position is $40.00-$46.00 per hour. Final compensation will be determined based on experience, skills, and qualifications. Non-exempt employees are eligible for overtime. Full-time employees are eligible to select from different benefits packages. Packages may include medical, 401(k) without employer match. Paid Sick leave is provided based on state or local laws."
