Job Identification:
- Immediate Supervisor: Training Store Manager.
- EEOC Class: Sales Workers.
-FLSA Status: Non-Exempt.
Wage: $21.75 per hour
Job Summary:
The Supervisor I will work as a sales associate in a retail environment as well as oversee and direct the daily activities, schedules, and assignments of employees in the absence of the Training Store Manager and Training Store Assistant Manager. They will prepare related reports, reconcile daily receipts, make bank deposits and maintain store security. The Training Store Supervisor will ensure all persons reporting to the store in any capacity for training are trained and developed to perform their job functions in accordance with Goodwill's best practices and in line with all policies and procedures.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- Manages the store in the absence of the Training Store Manager and the Training Assistant
Store Manager.
-Oversees the daily workflow of the store.
- Assigns jobs and projects to staff to ensure that duties are completed safely and efficiently.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Assists customers with questions or price discrepancies. Performs conflict resolution as needed.
- Operates electric cash register and ensures accurate transactions.
- Assists customers in locating various products, resolving complaints, or providing information.
- Trains all people scheduled or assigned at the Rose store for all retail locations in their
respective roles.
- Ensures all policies and procedures are taught in like with Goodwill's best practices.
- Offers reporting or feedback to perspective store on areas of mastery or opportunities to focus
on.
- Ability to provide and demonstrate positive customer service and to de-escalate customer
service issues.
- Helps to implement and maintain the retail training curriculum and guides others to achieve the desired outcomes of that curriculum.
- Hires, trains, develops, supervises, and evaluates associates within the framework of Goodwill's
policies, procedures and job descriptions.
- Maintains inventory of store merchandise.
- Stocks, displays and sells all types of merchandise.
- Prices and markdown merchandise properly.
- Maintains store security measures and takes appropriate actions on known and suspected theft.
- Enforces safety practices and procedures and prepares related reports.
- Maintains back room Kaizen process.
- Understands and supervises ticket rotation / price reductions.
- Handles funds properly as required for store operations.
- Audits and balances store petty cash and daily reports.
- Responsible for a neat, clean and organized store.
- Accepts permanent / temporary assignments in other locations at discretion of District
Manager.
- Performs other related duties as assigned that would lead to successful operation of
department, team, and/or mission.

conditions.
- Must be able to work any store hours (Saturday through Friday: 7:00am - 8:30pm.)
- Appropriate dress attire.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
Required Experience:
The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and or abilities required for the position. Individuals must be able to pass a criminal background. Individuals must have a valid driver's license, liability insurance, insurability under the agency insurance carrier, dependable vehicle and a clean driving record.

- Must work in all weather conditions.
- Must be able to traverse warehouse to observe physical inventory.
- Prolonged periods standing (up to 8 hours.)
