At Where Ya Bin, we offer a shopping experience unlike any other. Every week, we receive truckloads of overstock merchandise from some of America's largest online retailers, creating an exciting treasure hunt for our customers. Our unique pricing model starts at $10 on Fridays and drops daily to just $0.25 by Thursday, ensuring fresh inventory arrives every week.

As our Retail Store Manager, you'll lead store operations, develop your team, and create an energetic shopping experience that keeps customers coming back.

What You'll Do

As the Retail Store Manager, you will oversee every aspect of daily store operations while leading by example on the sales floor.

Leadership & Team Development
  • Recruit, train, coach, and develop a high-performing retail team.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and exceptional customer service.
  • Conduct performance coaching and provide ongoing feedback.
  • Motivate team members to achieve operational and sales goals.
Store Operations
  • Oversee all daily store operations to ensure efficiency and consistency.
  • Maintain company standards for merchandising, stocking, cleanliness, and organization.
  • Ensure bins are fully stocked, staged, and presented according to company expectations.
  • Monitor inventory flow and coordinate with Logistics and Operations teams.
  • Address maintenance and operational issues quickly to minimize disruptions.
Customer Experience
  • Deliver an outstanding customer experience by maintaining a visible leadership presence.
  • Resolve customer concerns professionally and effectively.
  • Ensure every customer receives friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient service.
Scheduling, Payroll & Administration
  • Create and manage employee schedules that align with payroll budgets and business needs.
  • Approve employee timecards and submit payroll accurately and on time.
  • Maintain employee records and required documentation.
  • Complete operational reports and support marketing initiatives.
  • Partner with Human Resources, Marketing, Logistics, and Senior Leadership to support business objectives.
Safety & Compliance
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized store environment.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and safety procedures.
  • Lead by example while promoting a positive workplace culture.
What We're Looking For

We're seeking an experienced retail professional who enjoys leading from the front and inspiring others.

Preferred Qualifications
  • 3+ years of retail management experience (Store Manager, Assistant Store Manager, or similar leadership role preferred)
  • Proven ability to lead, coach, and develop high-performing teams
  • Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills
  • Experience managing payroll, scheduling, labor budgets, and store operations
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, physically active retail environment
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and retail management systems
  • Ability to collaborate across departments and communicate effectively with senior leadership
  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
