Your Work Matters
This role is a key support person to all stores with a focus on labor planning, labor system maintenance, trend analysis, forecasting, process improvement recommendations and project management. This position provides input and support by partnering with cross-functional departments to drive efficiencies, productivity, and process improvements for our stores.
Your Day Consists Of
  • Partner and coordinate with our stores, field leaders, and Store Support Center (SSC) functional teams to assist with workforce planning strategies.
  • Create and develop an overall workforce plan for stores to maximize labor productivity, associate availability, and resource utilization.
  • Utilize data mining and analysis to evaluate labor performance metrics, uncover staffing inefficiencies, and support data-driven workforce planning decisions in a multi-unit retail environment.
  • Refine labor models over time to drive increased labor efficiency across the business.
  • Oversee the long-term refinement of workforce management plans, adjusting to drive increased efficiency across all stores.
  • Identify and escalate key labor management opportunities and critical areas of opportunity.
  • Develop and maintain monthly, quarterly, and annual operational labor plans.
  • Assist Finance in on-going store labor planning and budgeting.
  • Support the budgeting and forecasting process to ensure continuity and the appropriate targets for long-term labor needs are met.
  • Build relationships to work effectively across department lines and all levels of management and maintain a proactive dialogue with field leadership for the purpose of anticipating future needs.
  • Identify improvement opportunities through data analysis to effectively inform decisions and strategies.
  • Provide ad-hoc facilitation, strategy sessions, & performance planning services Store Operations leadership.

You'll Be Successful With
  • Retail industry experience preferred.
  • Highly comfortable with navigating large data sets from multiple sources
  • Understanding of retail labor management processes preferred
  • Proficient skills in Excel, including pivot tables
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills required

Work Environment / Physical Expectations
  • Limited travel required including air and car travel
  • You'll work in a quiet to moderate office environment that supports focus, collaboration, and cross-functional connection.
  • This role is primarily sedentary, with most of your time spent at a desk-though you may occasionally move about for meetings, collaboration, or presentations.
  • You should be comfortable with light physical activity (lifting or moving up to 20 pounds on occasion), but the role is not physically demanding day-to-day.
