Job Title: Assistant Pricing Coordinator

Reports To: Pricing Coordinator

Pricing plays a crucial role in delivering the best value to our guests, and as an Assistant Pricing Coordinator, you’ll be at the heart of ensuring accuracy and consistency in our retail pricing strategy. In this role, you’ll collaborate with department managers and vendor partners to keep pricing up to date, support promotions, and provide outstanding service to our guests. If you enjoy working with details, problem-solving, and contributing to a smooth grocery shopping experience, this role is for you!


What You’ll Do:

As an Assistant Pricing Coordinator at Festival Foods, your responsibilities include:

  • Support the Pricing Coordinator by executing price changes, ad and display updates, and promotional signage throughout the store.

  • Maintain accurate pricing across all store products, ensuring guests receive clear and correct information.

  • Communicate and collaborate with the Store Director, Pricing Director, and department managers to uphold pricing standards and exceed guest expectations.

  • Provide exceptional customer service, assisting guests in locating items and answering pricing-related questions.

  • Take the lead in the Pricing Coordinator’s absence to keep operations running smoothly.

  • Contribute to a clean, organized pricing department, including work areas, inventory, shelving, and the sales floor.

  • Follow best practices outlined in the Pricing team manual to maintain consistency and efficiency.

  • Honor committments: Regular, timely attendance in alignment with the work schedule and coverage needs.

  • Support the Team: Perform other duties as assigned.

What We’re Looking For:

To excel in the Assistant Pricing Coordinator role, you'll bring: 

  • Education/Experience: High school diploma or equivalent or a combination of education and experience.

  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with guests, team members, and leadership.

  • Basic computer knowledge, including experience with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word.

  • A detail-oriented and adaptable approach to handling pricing adjustments and store promotions.

  • A positive attitude and a commitment to providing excellent guest service.

Work Schedule:

This is a full-time role, with shifts typically scheduled during the day from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with occasional evening and weekend shifts. Additionally, Wednesday shifts begin at 3:00 AM to support pricing updates and promotions.
