Retail Planner Manager Location: Culver City, hybrid schedule Industry: Beauty/CPG Direct Hire Pay: 130k-140k + Bonus A fast-growing Beauty and CPG brand is looking for their first dedicated Retail Planner. This is a brand that has built serious momentum across major specialty beauty and department store retail partners domestically and is now expanding its footprint internationally. With a lean, high-energy team and a packed launch calendar ahead, this hire will have real visibility and real impact from day one.

If you are a seasoned retail planner who loves digging into sell-through data, building forecasts from scratch, and owning the numbers behind a fast-moving product portfolio, this one is worth your attention. Key Responsibilities Build and manage retail sellout plans that feed the sell-in and revenue plan across a portfolio of wholesale retail partners Analyze weekly sell-through data from key retail partners and pull clear, actionable headlines for internal stakeholders Track inventory levels at the SKU level and make recommendations on when to push orders, hold back, or flag discontinuation risk Manage SKU-level complexity across multiple launches, partial door distribution, flankers, sets, and frequent assortment changes Build seasonal budgets and forecasts in partnership with the Sales Planning Lead and communicate demand plans to Operations and Supply teams Prepare agendas and recaps for regular retailer planning meetings Collaborate cross-functionally with Operations, Supply Chain, Product Development, Marketing, Trade Marketing, and Field teams Support major brand activations throughout the year Travel for market tours a few times per year, including domestic and international destinations Qualifications 7+ years of retail planning experience, preferably with exposure to both the retailer side and the brand side Experience working with major specialty beauty retailers is highly valued Expert level proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including building tools, models, formulas, and reporting from scratch Strong ability to extract and communicate actionable insights from data quickly and clearly Experience working in beauty, fragrance, or a high-SKU consumer brand is a strong plus Comfortable working closely with a hands-on manager in a fast-paced, lean team environment Valid passport required for occasional international travel No degree required with the right experience Why This Role This is the first dedicated planning hire on the sales team, which means you are not stepping into someone else's system.
