Job Summary:

Job Summary:
Operations Project Manager will collaborate with Corporate, Regional and Market leadership to help drive, plan and track Corporate Operations and Safety Initiatives to achieve desired results. Role will also involve assisting in the ongoing administration and improvement of current processes / procedures as they pertain to Operations and Safety.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide project tracking and status updates on Operations / Safety related initiatives. Conduct market follow ups and assist in trouble shooting / problem resolution
  • Continually review Operational / Safety processes to identify areas of improved efficiencies / cost savings and propose solutions
  • Partner with Finance to enhance and communicate overall financial reporting and capacity modeling. Assist in interpretation of report findings, identifying of areas for improvement and development of solutions
  • Support the rollout, training, adoption, and improvement of new and existing software / systems utilized by Operations teams
  • Track market safety compliance and assist in remote auditing and verification of submitted records.
  • Collaborate with VP, Operations / Safety in review and maintenance of CCO safety manual to ensure regulatory compliance. Modify as needed.
  • Coordinate with Regional Operations Leaders to catalog and share Operational Best Practices (i.e. Operations Playbook)
  • Partner with Corporate Operations, Structure & Design and Finance to develop and provide Key Metrics to measure performance of our construction division
  • Coordinate new operational / safety equipment evaluations with Regional Operations Leaders
  • Track and manage vehicle needs including IFTA/IRP management, DOT compliance, and fleet right-sizing.
  • Other related tasks as needed

Job Qualifications:

Education and Certifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or related field

Work Experience

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in Operations or Project Management, preferably in a supervisory or managerial role

Skills

  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to collaborate amongst multiple departments and levels across the organization
  • Proven work experience as a Project Manager or similar role
  • Excellent computer skills
  • Preference in making data-driven decisions
  • Takes initiative in identifying issues for resolution/improvement
