Location and Travel: This position is on-site at the corporate office in Westlake, TX and may require up to 15% of travel to OpCos as needed.
Position Purpose:
As the Human Resource Generalist, you will be responsible for performing HR-related duties on a professional level and support the Regional HR Director on HR activities within the Region. You will drive standardization of HR efforts, provide support for cultural initiatives, workers compensation, employee relations, payroll, benefits, leave of absences, and training activities. A successful candidate will maintain HR compliances, contribute to innovative HR practices, and play a role in ensuring an environment that enables all.
Responsibilities:
  • Support onboarding needs and have ability to facilitate weekly new hire orientation remotely when needed.
  • Processing biweekly payroll when needed.
  • Performing HRIS data maintenance; including status changes. Supports audits and data requests when needed.
  • Administering various HR plans and procedures for all Core-Mark personnel including pay, benefits, and leave related processes.
  • Addressing employee inquiries regarding company policies, procedures, and HR programs.
  • Pushing out and supporting cultural activities across the Region.
  • Providing employee relations support including conducting investigations.
  • Assisting with performance review cycles and performance management.
  • Conducting regular audits on employee timekeeping records to ensure compliance.
  • Assisting with responses to unemployment claims.
  • Coordinating employee training, employee awards, and other Core-Mark programs.
  • Providing additional support to HR process across Core-Mark.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned
