Overview
The Senior Analyst, Finance NA supports budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and financial analysis activities across marketing and support functions. This role partners closely with Marketing, Divisional teams, Accounting, and Finance leadership to deliver accurate financial insights, manage expense forecasting, and support strategic decision-making. The ideal candidate is analytical, detail-oriented, and comfortable working cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage financial forecasts for assigned marketing and operational areas, including sales, expenses, and gross margin analysis
  • Partner with Marketing and business teams to support weekly forecasts, seasonal planning, and annual budgeting processes
  • Perform detailed financial analysis to identify trends, risks, opportunities, and performance variances
  • Provide recommendations to improve spend effectiveness and support expense management initiatives
  • Support evaluation of new marketing programs, promotional initiatives, and business opportunities through financial modeling and analysis
  • Prepare profitability analyses and ad hoc financial reporting to support business decisions
  • Partner with Accounting teams to ensure timely and accurate processing of purchase orders, invoices, accruals, and financial entries
  • Maintain internal controls, process documentation, and compliance-related procedures
  • Collaborate with Accounting to ensure financial reporting accuracy and integrity
  • Support leadership with special projects, reporting enhancements, and business analysis requests
  • Create and improve financial and marketing reporting tools to better support business needs
  • Assist with implementation and change management activities related to financial systems and process improvements
  • Support additional finance and operational initiatives as needed

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • 3+ years of experience in finance, accounting, financial planning, or related analytical roles
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and strong working knowledge of financial analysis and reporting
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data interpretation skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across cross-functional teams
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities

Preferred

  • Experience with Power BI, PowerPoint, or related reporting and visualization tools
  • Experience supporting marketing finance, retail finance, or operational budgeting environments
  • Experience supporting financial system implementations or process improvement initiatives
