We are looking for a Business Development Manager, Retail in our CT Territory. The salary for this positon starts at $40,000 annually . The position requires product knowledge, includes methods to display, promote and sell the right products for the client's customer base and demographics.
  • Continuously monitor market shifts and align client strategies with internal company objectives.
  • Create and foster strong, professional relationships with the assigned client, always striving for mutually beneficial outcomes.
  • Collaborate with internal departments dedicated to the same client account to ensure top-quality materials and comprehensive customer satisfaction.
  • Drive category growth within designated categories (233, 234, 232), focusing on capturing floorplans and expanding footages to supermax stores.
  • Support the process to ensure that the strategy is adherent to the local reality. Design and implement a plan to achieve assigned footage growth objectives.
  • Conduct regular visits to all routes, rotating throughout the month and ensuring stores are serviced to industry standards. Provide thorough documentation, including reports and visual evidence, via email communication for follow-up and review.
  • Analyzing data to anticipate changes and improvements and plan commercial dynamics. Design and implement a key account growth plan sufficient to ensure assigned objectives.
  • Maintain contact with operational staff, to ensure optimal satisfaction of key account needs and ensure the quality of services provided.

Position Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering or related career in commercial area, sales marketing with previous experience or any combination of education and related experience may be considered.
  • Computer Skills along with Microsoft Suite skills (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
  • Excellent communication skills required both oral and written
  • Budget management skills
  • Client portal experience required
  • Demonstrated ability to develop Special Market strategies
