Mitigation Superintendent Role:

The Mitigation Superintendent reports to the Mitigation Project Manager. The Superintendent verifies that all tasks listed on the scope of work are completed and then notifies Project Manager that work orders are completed. The Superintendent ensures all project personnel are operating a safe jobsite per OSHA requirements and Apex Restoration DKI policy and procedures. The Superintendent moisture maps and monitors the dry out of all water mitigation work assignments. Once job is complete, the Superintendent removes all drying equipment off site and obtains the signed final completion form. The Superintendent notifies Project Manager of completed jobs so that final invoice can be sent to customer for payment. The Superintendent manages all inventory of consumables, tools, and drying equipment for technician crew.


Accountabilities:


  • Be trained in and use PSA and MICA Moisture Mapping

  • Obtain certification in IICRC (Restoration Guidelines)

  • Knowledge of insurance claim procedures, standards and guidelines

  • Exceptional skills in communication, organization, teamwork, accuracy, attention to detail, time management, conflict resolution, and cost management

  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously

  • Utilize the latest server and cloud based computer technology including: Microsoft Office, PSA project management/accounting software, and document management software

  • Must actively practice leadership abilities as one of the leaders of the mitigation team

  • Must consistently strive to learn, implement, and maintain strong understanding of mitigation operations and procedures

  • Foster positive relationships with team members and clients

  • Monitor performance data; anticipate, prevent and solve problems

  • Field customer questions & concerns, resolving all issues, working with appropriate staff

  • Complete weekly vehicle inspection and maintain vehicle cleanliness

  • May work 48+ hours per week

  • May be on call during catastrophic events

  • Perform other responsibilities as required

Required Qualifications:


  • Exceptional skills in communication, organization, teamwork, accuracy, attention to detail, time management, conflict resolution, and cost management

  • Knowledge of insurance claim procedures, standards and guidelines are a plus

  • Have or willing to obtain restoration certifications through the IICRC

  • Knowledge of moisture mapping technology

  • Must be able to lift up to 75lbs

  • Must be able to enter confined spaces and climb ladders

  • Must maintain clean and professional appearance at all times

  • Valid Drivers License & eligibility to work in the United States

  • Ability to pass a background check and drug screen

  • No felony convictions

Compensation:


  • Salary $40,000 to $45,000 depending on experience

  • Eligible for commission plan after 90 days and favorable review, possible earnings of 25% to 75% of your base salary
