Job description

TBest Services is seeking an experienced Restoration Foreman to join our client’s fast-growing Water, Fire, and Mold Mitigation & Restoration company in Halethorpe, MD. This is a working foreman role where you’ll lead field crews on restoration projects while also managing documentation, client communication, and overall job execution.

Key Responsibilities
  • Communicate the restoration process clearly to homeowners and clients, ensuring all required signatures and paperwork are obtained.
  • Lead, supervise, and work alongside crews on mitigation and restoration projects, including water extraction, demolition, structural drying, fire and smoke cleanup, and mold remediation.
  • Ensure all job documentation is accurate and complete, including notes, moisture readings, sketches, photos, and updates.
  • Upload and manage documentation using restoration software and basic computer tools.
  • Monitor job progress, maintain safety standards, and ensure work is completed to industry and company quality expectations.
  • Coordinate with clients, insurance adjusters, and internal teams to deliver excellent service and customer satisfaction.
  • Participate in an on-call rotation for after-hours and weekend emergencies.
Qualifications
  • Minimum 2+ years of hands-on experience in water, fire, or mold mitigation/restoration.
  • IICRC Certification (Water, Fire, Mold) strongly preferred.
  • Additional certifications preferred: ASD (Applied Structural Drying), AMRT (Applied Microbial Remediation Technician), Fire & Smoke Cleaning.
  • Experience managing large-loss projects (5,000+ sqft or multi-unit properties) a strong plus.
  • Ability to scope, estimate, and manage jobs effectively.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to direct crews in the field.
  • Must be physically able to lift and move equipment, and work in demanding environments.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation. (Company vehicle may be provided.)
  • Proficient with basic computer skills for reporting, notes, and photo documentation.
  • Must pass a background check and drug screening.
  • References from a previous employer are required.
Schedule & Compensation
  • Location: Halethorpe, MD (DMV service area, hybrid field role)
  • Pay Range: $36 – $48 per hour, based on experience, certifications, and skills
  • Schedule: Full-time, with rotating after-hours/weekend on-call shifts.
  • Overtime: Time and a half for hours over 40 per week.
  • Bonuses: Available for after-hours emergency work (when billable).
