Job description

A premier leadership development organization and fast growing Chick-fil-A Franchised Operator (MKTA Corporation dba Chick-fil-A Macland Crossing) is looking for an Operations Leader. He/she must be a self-driven individual, yet willing to serve others through their influence. The person must be highly organized, and be responsible for several facets of the organization, including but not limited to overall operations, hospitality (front of the house and drive-thru), kitchen, inventory, customer experience, labor productivity, and expense control. He/she will also responsible for leading sub groups of team members in the organization, influence actions of the team, and the overall reputation of the brand. We are recruiting for an operationally hands-on, results-oriented individual who desires to advance in the organization with higher roles and responsibilities. Some people attracted to this position desire to become a Chick-fil-A Owner/Operator, learn how to run their own small business, develop leadership skills, or pursue a long-term role within our local franchised organization.


Requirements:

  • Full-time (40-45 hours/week). Must be available every day between 5am-11pm, including Saturdays.
  • Work mostly days, up to 3 evenings, and Saturdays.
  • Must enjoy working with people - the public and team members. Bachelor's degree and/or related experience, in any industry, with leading people is preferred; restaurant based experience is not necessarily preferred. Some of our successful leaders have come from various non-restaurant backgrounds.

Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Must be willing to be hands-on in an operational role, serving side by side with other team members and leaders for almost half of the work week.
  • Be able to switch effectively between working in a position and leading/coaching.
  • Be able to consistently execute vision, translated into daily operations.
  • Ability to monitor cash management, inventory, drive-thru and hospitality operations.
  • Interface with leaders overseeing other business areas in a cohesive manner to ensure achievement of business results.
  • Perform regular food safety and quality standard assessments.
  • Consistently review best practices with current team members.
  • Lead a weekly review focusing on particular service standards for specific areas.
  • Proven leadership skills in regard to enthusiasm and ability to motivate others.
  • Desire to grow business and personal skills while thriving in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to handle guest concerns, complaints, and issues by executing flawless follow-up and issue resolution.
  • Ability to improve and grow leaders through personal relationship-building.
  • Ability to communicate and collaborate with Senior Leadership /Operator to fulfill business needs.
  • Analytical and meticulous working style with a desire for self-growth.
  • ServSafe Manager Certification (may be obtained after selection).
  • Servant leadership mindset with proven leadership skills.
  • Proven ability to recognize strengths and passions in others.
  • Desire to develop people of all ages and skill levels.
  • Excellent communication (verbal and written), interpersonal, teamwork, and leadership skills.
