We are looking for a Restaurant Manager who is passionate about hospitality, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and enjoys developing great teams while delivering operational excellence.

Position Overview

The Restaurant Manager is responsible for leading daily restaurant operations while supporting a culture of accountability, hospitality, and teamwork. This role works closely with the General Manager and Executive Chef to ensure outstanding guest experiences, strong financial performance, and consistent execution of Wonderyard's service and operational standards.

This is a hands-on leadership position that spends significant time on the floor coaching employees, engaging with guests, and ensuring the restaurant operates at a high level every day.

Responsibilities
  • Lead daily front-of-house operations while supporting overall restaurant performance.

  • Coach, develop, and motivate hourly team members and supervisors.

  • Deliver exceptional guest service by actively interacting with guests and resolving concerns professionally.

  • Maintain high standards for food quality, beverage execution, cleanliness, and presentation.

  • Ensure company policies, health department regulations, liquor laws, and safety standards are consistently followed.

  • Assist with scheduling, labor management, and staffing needs.

  • Support hiring, interviewing, onboarding, and training of new employees.

  • Monitor labor, controllable costs, and operational efficiencies.

  • Complete daily manager responsibilities including shift notes, cash handling, opening and closing procedures, and operational reporting.

  • Partner with the culinary team to ensure seamless communication between front and back of house.

  • Foster a positive, accountable, and team-oriented culture.

  • Support private events, promotions, and high-volume service periods including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications
  • Previous restaurant management experience in a full-service, high-volume restaurant.

  • Strong leadership and coaching abilities.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to remain calm and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.

  • Strong organizational and time management skills.

  • Experience with scheduling, labor management, and guest recovery.

  • Knowledge of food safety, alcohol service, and applicable health regulations.

  • Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as business needs require.
