Title: Local Store Marketing Manager
Reports to: Sr. Director, Local Store Marketing and Property Director, Operations
Location: Nashville - W Nashville (José Andrés Group F&B)
Salary: $75-95k + Benefits
José Andrés Group (JAG) is seeking a seasoned, strategic, and highly hands-on Local Store Marketing (LSM) Manager to lead marketing efforts for José Andrés Group's restaurants and experiences at W Nashville. This role will serve as the dedicated marketing lead for the property, partnering closely with Operations, Events, PR, agency and hotel partners to drive aligned positioning, guest engagement, restaurant traffic, event awareness, and brand visibility across multiple concepts and dining experiences.
Role Summary
Reporting to the Sr. Director of Local Store Marketing, the LSM Manager will oversee local marketing strategy and execution for JAG's Nashville hotel-based portfolio, with a strong focus on driving business performance through integrated marketing, local outreach, event support, and in-market brand presence.
This role is ideal for a marketer who is equally comfortable guiding strategy, managing agency partners and key stakeholders, and executing tactics that drive results. The ideal candidate deeply understands the Nashville market, thrives in fast-paced hospitality environments, and brings strong relationship-building skills alongside operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Local Marketing & Community Engagement
  • Serve as the dedicated in-market marketing lead for José Andrés Group's restaurant portfolio at W Nashville: Bar Mar, Zaytinya, Butterfly and Glowbird, working closely with hotel marketing and sales team on cohesive outreach and community marketing activation calendar
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with local tastemakers, concierge teams (residential and hotel), local media partners, and cultural organizations to drive traffic
  • Identify and execute localized marketing, partnerships, and field marketing opportunities that connect the restaurants to the surrounding community and target audiences
  • Maintain a strong pulse on the Nashville market, competitive landscape, hospitality trends, and guest behavior to inform marketing strategy along with selective programming and partnerships
  • Regularly spend time on the floor understanding the cadence and audience of our concepts, cultivating relationships and identifying opportunities to increase visibility and drive covers

Marketing Strategy & Agency Management
  • Lead development and execution of integrated marketing plans supporting restaurant programming, seasonal campaigns, launches, partnerships, and business priorities
  • Oversee and manage external agency and creative partners, including PR, paid media, content production, and design resources
  • Partner closely with centralized JAG marketing team overseeing content and editorial strategy, social media, email marketing, and digital channels to ensure alignment and timely execution
  • Ensure all marketing initiatives maintain strong alignment with JAG brand positioning, storytelling, and W Nashville / JAG hospitality standards
  • Execute and creatively direct content shoots to further support marketing campaigns and editorial calendars
  • Manage marketing calendars, campaign timelines, approvals, and cross-functional coordination across internal and external stakeholders

Events, Partnerships & Event Sales Support
  • Partner closely with Events and Sales teams to support private dining, group sales, and on-property programming initiatives
  • Develop marketing strategies and promotional plans to support group sales goals and increase awareness of event spaces and experiences across JAG managed outlets (Bar Mar, Butterfly)
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to concept and execute tentpole activations, partnerships, dinners, cultural programming, and guest experiences, ensuring alignment with hotel marketing team
  • Support influencer hosting, media visits, VIP experiences, and partnership activations in coordination with PR and Operations teams

Digital & Performance Oversight
  • Oversee performance and execution across social media, email marketing, web, and paid media channels in partnership with centralized internal teams and agency partners
  • Ensure content calendars, campaign messaging, and digital touchpoints support overall business objectives and seasonal priorities, while staying aligned to luxury brand positioning on property
  • Monitor campaign performance and marketing effectiveness across channels, leveraging insights and reporting to optimize strategy and drive results
  • Maintain awareness of emerging platforms, trends, and hospitality marketing best practices

Cross-Functional Leadership & Operations
  • Serve as the primary liaison between JAG Marketing, and on-property Operations and Events teams, and hotel marketing team
  • Partner with Operations leadership to support menu launches, collateral updates, guest experience initiatives, and operational communications around storytelling and programming
  • Manage local marketing budgets, invoices, and reporting in partnership with Finance team
  • Ensure seamless execution and communication across stakeholders in a dynamic environment

Requirements
Qualifications
  • 7+ years of experience in hospitality, restaurant, lifestyle, experiential, or hotel marketing
  • Strong understanding of the Nashville hospitality, cultural, F&B and hotel landscape
  • Proven experience managing integrated marketing campaigns, community marketing, partnerships, and events from strategy through execution
  • Experience managing external partners across PR, paid media, content, and design
  • Experience supporting hotel F&B outlets and event-driven businesses is a plus
  • Existing relationships within Nashville hospitality, media, and business communities is a plus
  • Strong operational instincts with the ability to manage multiple priorities and execute in a fast-paced environment
  • Exceptional communication, relationship-building, and project management skills
  • Highly collaborative, proactive, and solutions-oriented
  • Comfortable working nights/weekends as needed for events and activations
