This position leads high-priority regional and franchisee (FZ)-level analytics to diagnose topline sales, traffic, and profitability issues across the Burger King US system and drive data-driven solutions. Acting as the analytics "quarterback," this role partners with Burger King's other analytics teams to guide deep dives and synthesize findings into executive-ready recommendations. This position also builds and owns a suite of tools powering a standardized franchisee health-check process, and will define and execute the approach to creating profitability visibility down to the ticket and product level.

RBI follows a 5 day, in-office work schedule to support collaboration. Candidates should be comfortable working onsite 5 days per week out of our office in Miami, FL.

What You'll Do:

  • Lead and execute major regional and FZ-level analytics initiatives to identify topline sales, traffic, and profitability performance issues, and propose actionable solutions to address them
  • Serve as the analytics quarterback, working closely with other analytics teams including Digital Analytics, Operations Analytics, Marketing Analytics, FZ Profitability, Pricing & Coupons Analytics, etc. as subject matter experts to guide deep dives into each aspect of the business
  • Own the design and build of a suite of tools that replicate this analysis through a repeatable FZ business health-check process, enabling proactive identification of performance issues for any FZ / region.
  • Own the Prime Profit project, bringing profitability visibility down to the ticket and product level to identify margin drivers, leakage, and improvement opportunities
  • Present findings, insights, and recommendations to FZ and Burger King leadership team
  • Manage, coach, and develop an analyst, ensuring rigor, accuracy, and timeliness across all analytics deliverables
  • Build and maintain relationships with FZs to understand their business context and translate analytics into practical, adoptable decisions
  • Proactively identify opportunities to optimize processes and scale analytics capabilities across the FZ system

What You Bring:

  • 5+ years of progressive experience in analytics, finance, or business intelligence, ideally within QSR, retail, franchise, or CPG environments
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Data Analytics, or a related quantitative field; MBA or advanced quantitative degree is preferred
  • Prior people management experience, with a proven ability to lead, coach, and develop team
  • Strong SQL skills and experience with cloud data platforms (e.g., Snowflake, Databricks); proficiency with Alteryx, Tableau, or similar BI/data-visualization tools
  • Highly proficient with MS Office applications; advanced Excel skills
  • Experience applying AI/GenAI tools (e.g., Codex, Claude, Cortex, ChatGPT, or similar) to accelerate analysis, automate reporting, or build analytics tools is a strong plus
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to synthesize complex, cross-functional analyses into clear, actionable recommendations for leadership
  • Demonstrated experience leading complex analytics projects end-to-end
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present to senior leadership and franchisees
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a desire to learn, be challenged, and operate effectively in ambiguity
