Job description

RK&K is looking for a self-motivated, Field Engineer in our Raleigh, NC office to work on local municipal projects. As a Field Engineer II with RK&K you will support civil construction projects from start to completion related to highway, roadway, bridge and related facilities.
Essential Functions
  • Coordination of a variety of construction projects to consultation, investigation, evaluation, planning, design of public or private utilities, structures, machines, equipment, processes, transportation systems and work systems
  • Communication with internal team and external clients
  • Accurate logging of activities on work site
  • Running point on inspections of roadway and bridges
  • Assisting with inspections and other on-site meetings

Required Skills and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or construction management/science
  • 2-7 years of experience in Construction Inspection or Construction Management
  • Ability to coordinate simultaneous tasks
  • Proficiency in communicating technical information
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
