Job description

Role: Java and UX Developer
Location: Jersey City, NJ
Duration: 6 months
Responsibilities:
Work at client site to support application development
Required skills:
  • 5+ years of experience in developing user facing applications in Java with experience in AngularJS and Spring
  • Experience working on application development on enterprise scale with familiarity with basic build, unit testing and deployment tools
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills and ability to interact with business users on a day to day basis
  • Strong problem solving skills
  • Strong sense of ownership, focus on quality, responsiveness, efficiency, and innovation

Preferred skills:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
  • Experience with other web technologies incl. HTML5, CSS3, SASS, Twitter Bootstrap, jQuery, NodeJS, and React
  • Experience writing highly extensible code
  • Experience working with Financial Services / Investment Banking clients
  • Strong object oriented understanding
  • Experience building responsive web UIs

Expected deliverables:
  • Application design, development, testing, deployment and relevant documentation, as applicable
