Responsible Managing Officer (RMO) / Responsible Managing Employee (RME)California B – General Building Contractor License

Residential & Commercial Remodeling

We are an established and growing construction company specializing in residential and commercial remodeling projects throughout Shasta, Siskiyou, & Tehama Counties. We are seeking an experienced Responsible Managing Officer (RMO) or Responsible Managing Employee (RME) with an active California B – General Building Contractor License to join our team and help support continued growth.

Position Overview

The successful candidate will serve as the qualifying individual for our California contractor's license and provide leadership, oversight, and guidance on construction operations, project execution, and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities
  • Act as the company's RMO or RME in accordance with California CSLB requirements.
  • Provide active oversight of residential and commercial remodeling projects.
  • Support project planning, scheduling, quality control, and compliance.
  • Ensure company operations meet all licensing, safety, and building code requirements.
  • Participate in management decisions and operational oversight.
  • Assist in developing best practices and maintaining high construction standards.
Qualifications
  • Active California B – General Building Contractor License in good standing.
  • Eligible to serve as an RMO or RME under California law.
  • Experience in residential remodeling, commercial tenant improvements, & Renovations.
  • Strong understanding of California building codes, permitting, and construction practices.
  • Proven leadership and project management experience.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
