Job Summary

BOXABL is seeking a talented and motivated Manufacturing Engineer to join our team. The Manufacturing Engineer will play a crucial role in optimizing our production processes, ensuring product quality, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing engineering, with experience in lean manufacturing principles, process optimization, and product development.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Optimize manufacturing processes to increase efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance product quality.
  • Provide engineering support for new product development initiatives, from concept to production.
  • Develop and implement quality control measures to ensure products meet specifications and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with the team to optimize component quality, cost, and delivery.
  • Investigate and resolve manufacturing issues through root cause analysis and corrective actions.
  • Develop standard operating procedures (SOPs) and provide training to production personnel.
  • Identify opportunities for cost reduction through process improvements and value engineering.
  • Makes layouts and optimizes material flow.
  • Conduct research, make suggestions, and implement automation projects.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Experience and Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering roles, preferably in the automotive industry.
  • Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing principles, Six Sigma methodologies, and process optimization techniques.
  • Strong knowledge in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and manufacturing simulation tools.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to conduct root cause analysis.
  • Experience with quality management systems (ISO 9001, AS9100, etc.) and regulatory compliance.
