What are the 4 pillars of EM?

For a Response Manager, the four pillars of Emergency Management (EM) are preparedness, mitigation, response, and recovery. These pillars guide effective planning, coordination, and execution during emergencies, often supported by skills in communication, leadership, and use of emergency management tools.

What is the highest paying first responder job?

The highest paying first responder jobs are typically paramedics and emergency medical services (EMS) directors, with paramedics earning a median annual salary of around $45,000 to $50,000, and EMS directors earning over $70,000. Fire chiefs and police chiefs also have high earning potential, often exceeding $100,000 with experience and advanced certifications.
