Incident Response Specialist

Alarm Systems Monitor License Required or be willing to obtain, a Texas Alarm Systems Monitor License.

Position Summary

First Responder Protective Services (FRPS) is hiring full-time Incident Response Specialist in the Frisco, TX area for a  24/7 Monitoring Center supporting approximately 4,000 locations throughout the United States. This position is responsible for monitoring alarm activity, surveillance systems, and incoming incidents while coordinating responses with clients, emergency services, and designated personnel. Work environment involves sitting across multiple computer screens displaying real time advanced alert surveillance system from multiple sites.

This is an operations communications and alarm monitoring position—not a security officer or patrol position. Candidates with backgrounds in dispatch, emergency communications, alarm monitoring, military command centers, or customer operations centers are strongly encouraged to apply.

The ideal candidate 

Applicants must possess, or be willing to obtain, a Texas Alarm Systems Monitor License.



Responsibilities

  • Monitor alarm systems in real time, evaluate alarm activity, and determine whether incidents are valid alarms, false alarms, or require additional investigation before taking appropriate action.
  • Continuously monitor surveillance system from multiple sites. , alarm platforms, and other electronic monitoring systems to identify suspicious activity, verify alarm events, and maintain situational awareness across multiple client locations.
  • Dispatch appropriate personnel or emergency responders when required.
  • Maintain accurate incident logs and communication records.
  • Follow established escalation procedures for critical events.
  • Communicate professionally with clients, field personnel, emergency responders, and internal staff.
  • Monitor multiple locations simultaneously while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Protect confidential client and operational information.



Available Shifts

  • 11:30pm -7:00am (Saturday and Sunday off) 
  • 4:30am – 1:00pm (Monday & Tuesday off)
  • 10:00 PM – 6:30 AM (Monday & Tuesday Off)
  • 11:00 PM – 7:30 AM (Wednesday & Thursday Off)

Must be available to work nights, weekends, holidays, and other scheduled shifts in a 24/7 operations environment.


Required Qualifications

  • Texas Alarm Systems Monitor License (or ability to obtain before employment)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong computer skills with the ability to navigate security software applications simultaneously
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced monitoring environment
  • Strong attention to detail and sound decision-making skills
  • Ability to remain calm and professional during emergency situations
  • Dependable attendance and reliability
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality

Compensation & Benefits

Pay: $20.00 per hour (Paid Weekly)

Full-Time Benefits

Paid Time Off

  • Year 1: Up to 56 hours (7 days)
  • Year 2: Up to 80 hours (10 days)
  • Year 5+: Up to 120 hours (15 days)
