About the Position: This position is assigned to the AMC Services HR Directorate. The incumbent will direct a Civilian Human Resources Service Center, overseeing all recruitment and placement activities and ensuring effective administration and coordination of operations.
This position may be filled at any of the duty locations listed. Duty location is negotiable after selection from among the listed locations.Qualifications:

In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience.
Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes: 1) Overseeing federal civilian personnel recruitment and placement programs while coordinating closely with other HR functional areas such as Labor Management Employee Relations (LMER) and Classification to ensure integrated, consistent, and efficient service delivery across programs; -AND- 2) Providing advice and guidance to senior leaders on civilian personnel management policies, program requirements, and workforce issues; -AND- 3) Evaluating civilian personnel program operations for quality, compliance, and service effectiveness; -AND- 4) Leading human resources (HR) staff or work activities, such as directing tasks, setting priorities, guiding workflow, reviewing work products, or resolving issues and implementing automation to support effective HR service delivery. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-13).
