  • ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES ·
  • Maintain consistent practices with company policy/procedures and help drive HR initiatives. 
  • Completes and audits payroll processing
  •  Ensure regulatory compliance of all HR functions including gratuities, deductions and vacation time. ·
  •  Ensures proper execution of company benefits. ·
  •  Establish “Open Door Policy.” ·
  •  Develop and implement staffing strategies that attract and retain the best talent in the industry. ·
  •  Investigates workplace problems. According to circumstances, provides guidance and recommendations for problem resolution to management. ·
  • Consult with  Corporate Director of Human Resources as appropriate, on personnel matters. ·
  •  Comply with federal, state, and local legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation; and advising management on needed actions. ·
  • Participate on  committees and special projects and seeks additional responsibilities. ·
  •  Possess considerable knowledge of management-labor relations and Human Resources Management. ·
  • The ability to exercise considerable judgment and discretion in establishing and maintaining good working relationships. KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS: ·
  • Human Resources management experience preferably in hospitality operations. ·
  • Payroll experience required. ·
  • Knowledge of EEO/AA policies, wage and hour regulations, laws and requirements involving interviewing and hiring, Title VII, HIPPA, ERISA, COBRA, ADA and FMLA. ·
  • Excellent interpersonal skills. ·
  • Highly motivated and high energy. ·
  • Work with little supervision. ·
  • Handle a dynamic work environment with competing priorities. ·
  • A team player who has the ability to multi-task and is self-directed. ·
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. ·
  • Build positive working relationships with employees at all levels within the organization. ·
  • Good problem solver/creative thinker.
  • Proficient with excel and Outlook applications 

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities;

The ideal Human Resources Assistant must demonstrate the ability to use professional discretion in dealing with confidential matters, maintain effective flow of information between various departments, organize and disseminate information from a variety of sources, and possess knowledge of scheduling techniques.

Qualifications:

  • College/ University degree in Human Resources or three (3) plus years work-related experience in Human Resources, and/or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Good time management and organizational skills
  • Have knowledge of Labor Law, Insurance Law
  • Familiar with work permit & residence card
  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Power Point, Publisher and Outlook)
