Position Overview

Thomas Auto Group is seeking a professional, highly organized, and dependable Human Resources Assistant to support the Corporate Human Resources Director and assist with daily HR operations across multiple dealership locations. This role is ideal for an individual who thrives in a structured, fast-paced environment and understands the importance of accuracy, confidentiality, and consistency.

This position plays a critical role in ensuring employee records, on boarding, compliance documentation, and HR processes are handled efficiently and professionally. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, trustworthy, and capable of working both independently and collaboratively.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with on boarding and new hire documentation, ensuring completeness and compliance

  • Maintain accurate and confidential employee personnel files

  • Support benefits administration, including enrollment forms and employee communication

  • Assist with payroll-related documentation and employment status changes

  • Prepare HR reports, logs, and tracking spreadsheets

  • Respond to employee inquiries in a professional and timely manner

  • Ensure compliance with company policies and state and federal employment regulations

  • Assist with HR audits, file management, and administrative HR projects

  • Provide general administrative support to the Corporate HR Director
