Overview
As a Security Officer at Town and Country Resort, you will play a key role in ensuring the safety and security of our guests, team members, and property. With 671 guest rooms and 295,000 sq. ft. of meeting and event space, we rely on professional, alert, and courteous security officers to maintain a safe and welcoming environment. This position is ideal for individuals who are highly observant, possess strong interpersonal skills, and are quick to act in emergencies. Pay Rate: $19.10

Responsibilities
  • Patrol resort grounds, public areas, meeting space, and back-of-house areas to ensure safety and security
  • Respond to and report all incidents including accidents, medical situations, suspicious behavior, or property damage
  • Monitor surveillance cameras, fire control panels, and security systems
  • Enforce resort rules and regulations in a calm and professional manner
  • Assist in emergency situations (evacuations, fire alarms, guest injuries) with a proactive and composed approach
  • Maintain accurate and detailed incident reports and security logs
  • Work closely with front office, engineering, and banquet teams during high-traffic events
  • Escort guests and employees as needed to ensure safety
  • Support lost and found procedures and guest service needs related to security
  • Assist with crowd control during large conventions, weddings, and events
  • Uphold confidentiality and privacy of guest and company information

Qualifications
  • Valid Guard Card required
  • CPR/First Aid certification preferred
  • Prior experience in hotel/resort security or law enforcement is a plus
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Professional appearance and demeanor required at all times
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure and manage conflict with tact and professionalism
  • Availability to work weekends, holidays, and special events
    Physical Requirements:
    • Must be able to stand and walk for the majority of the shift (up to 8+ hours)
    • Must be able to climb stairs, walk throughout the 39-acre property, and respond quickly to emergencies
    • Occasionally lift or move up to 50 lbs
    • Must be able to operate radios, phones, and computers
