Summary

The Golf Supervisor is responsible for supporting the daily operations of the golf department while delivering exceptional guest experience. This position provides leadership and direction to Golf Operations team members, assists with tee sheet management, golf cart operations, player services, tournaments and outings, and ensures the golf operation is maintained to Eaglewood Resort & Spa standards.


Season: Mid-March – November (Work)

Off-Season: December – February (No Work)


Duties & Responsibilities


Guest Experience

  • Provide friendly, professional service to all guests and golfers.
  • Respond to guest questions, requests, and concerns promptly.
  • Maintain knowledge of the golf course, tee times, resort amenities, and golf services.

Golf Operations

  • Assist with daily tee sheet and golf operations.
  • Coordinate golf carts, player services, bag handling, and guest areas.
  • Ensure carts, equipment, and golf areas are clean, organized, and ready for guests.
  • Monitor pace of play and address operational issues as needed.
  • Communicate course conditions, weather concerns, and operational changes to the team.
  • Follow all safety procedures and company policies.
  • Supervise, train, and support Golf team members.
  • Assign daily tasks based on business levels and operational needs.
  • Assist with scheduling and staffing.
  • Work closely with the Golf Manager, Golf Shop, Course Maintenance, Food & Beverage, and other resort departments.
  • Report guest concerns, accidents, equipment issues, and other operational concerns to management.
  • Assist with inventory, equipment, and departmental supplies.
  • Follow all Eaglewood Resort & Spa and Arbor Lodging policies and procedures.
  • Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all employees and guest matters.


Requirements:
  • Must be available to work weekends, holidays, early mornings, and evenings based on business needs.
  • Previous golf, hospitality, or customer service experience preferred.
  • Previous supervisory or leadership experience preferred.
  • Must possess a strong working knowledge of golf and passion for the sport.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work outdoors and in varying weather conditions.
