This position employs an individual for the advanced operation of a chemical machining work center. This individual's primary responsibility will be to process components through minimum instructions that may be in the form of written or verbal direction. Employee must become familiar with concepts of procedures and are aided with general supervision. Additionally, the individual in this position may be asked to provide leadership and direction to newly hired or more junior employees. This position is part of a team and a heavy emphasis will be placed on the individual's ability to participate in a team environment.

Shift available: Monday-Thursday 6:00-2:30 and Friday 4:00 am -12:00 pm
Responsibilities
  • Perform medium to high complexity tasks related to customer specific process requirements. Must be able to comprehend documentation requirements.
  • Verify system conditions or equipment status before operation. Employee may be required to adjust system settings within established guidelines
  • Inspect components to ensure specifications have been met.
  • Enter data and report issues as required.
  • Take responsibility as directed for all required process documentation
  • Train other employees on production processes or equipment usage as requested by Supervisor.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area.
  • Follows instructions of the Supervisor and/or Production Manager and conduct all work according to Resonetics policy and good safe labor practices.
  • The use of laser radiation (non-ionizing) sources will be used only in a manner that is safe for all Resonetics employees and visitors. The various wavelengths of laser light utilized at Resonetics will be taken into consideration in this and other personal protection policies by the laser operator.
  • Employee must conduct themselves in a professional and appropriate manner and is responsible for maintaining a high standard of conduct and job performance.

Required Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Minimum three years of experience in a comparable manufacturing environment preferably utilizing computer aided machinery or similarly equivalent experience demonstrating the ability to follow detailed technical processes using mechanical equipment.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with automated inspection equipment
  • Familiarity with ISO Quality Systems particularly in medical device manufacturing.
  • Use of optical inspection equipment. This may be defined as a magnifier, microscope, and/or equipment used for measuring capacity.

Physical Demands
  • Good dexterity as many jobs require the handling of many small components.
  • Abilit to lift 35 pounds on a routine basis
  • Ability to reach over head, twist and use extended reach
  • Ability to sit and stand for extended periods of time
  • Exposure to yellow light

Compensation
The compensation for this role is competitive and will be based on experience and qualifications. The anticipated range is $19.50-21.00/hr.
