Pay Range:
$69,800.00 - $114,800.00
Position Summary:
The Advanced Manufacturing Engineer is responsible for planning, designing, and maintaining manufacturing processes across Filling, Kitting, Packaging, and Shipping. Ensures systems run to specifications and comply with regulations while supporting cross-functional teams to optimize materials, labor, equipment, and systems.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain, develop, and implement automation processes using robotics, vision systems, and COBOTs.
  • Utilize Project Management, Lean Six Sigma, and CI tools to improve KPIs.
  • Assist leadership with improving OTD, lead times, backlog, and customer-facing metrics.
  • Develop and implement robust procedures that streamline processes and improve product quality.
  • Generate and execute IQ/OQ/PQ validation protocols.
  • Troubleshoot automation and root cause issues.
  • Participate in process development for new products.
  • Hands-on troubleshooting of manufacturing equipment.
  • Research, specify, and procure automated equipment.
  • Qualify suppliers and materials, generating validation protocols.
  • Manage multiple projects with minimal supervision.
  • Follow company SOPs and policies.

QUALIFICATIONS
Education and Experience:
Requires a bachelor's degree with 3-5 years of relevant experience; Or a master's degree with up to 3 years of relevant experience
  • 3-5 years of automation or process engineering experience.
  • Mechanical and electrical aptitude required.
  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt preferred.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma and CI methodologies.
  • Skilled in detailed, accurate, and organized work.
  • Skilled in Microsoft Office, Smartsheet, and statistical software (Minitab/JMP).
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to collaborate across departments.
  • Ability to troubleshoot equipment and systems.

Working Conditions:
  • On-site role supporting multiple production departments; may require extended hours as needed.

Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to stand.
  • Move through production areas.
  • Operate equipment as necessary.
